‘Piracicaba Never Forgot’ has been an active part of my life since I was very young; even before I fully understood the art of cinema, I already had the desire to make this documentary. As a result, anyone who knows me has automatically heard of this project. And it was whilst finishing this project that I decided my mission in cinema would be to rescue stories and ensure they are not forgotten, just like Piracicaba, which has never forgotten.
